Understanding Antisemitism: Then and Now Hybrid Thursday, May 7 & 14 10:00 – Noon

Offered by Seniors Achieving Greater Education, UMPI

The mission of the Holocaust and Human Rights Center of Maine is to promote universal respect for human rights through outreach and education. Using the lessons of the Holocaust and other events, past and present, we encourage individuals and communities to reflect and act upon their moral responsibilities to confront prejudice, intolerance, and discrimination. Erica will take us through the Fundamentals of Nazis Antisemitism on May 7 and on May 14 she will talk about the Post Holocaust Antisemitism.  This discussion will shine a light on what went wrong, what is still going wrong and what we can do about it.  Instructor: Erica Nadelhaft, Education Coordinator, currently lives in Bangor and travels the state doing programs for the HHRC of Maine. To register: https://sageumpi.coursestorm.com/course/the-holocaust-and-human-rights-center-of-maine.

Hope to see you there.
