Take a guided tour of the Presque Isle Air Museum with board member Kim Smith. Learn about the early days on the air strip in Presque Isle, the conversion to an Army Airfield in 1940 and then Presque Isle Air Force Base in 1947. Hear how this military installation played a major role in the defense of the nation right up through early 1960. Take a step back in time to listen to stories of intrigue, sabotage, rescues, and military aviation crashes.
