International Observe the Moon Night (IOMN), September 19, encourages observation, appreciation, and understanding of our Moon.
In the weeks leading up to the event, discover the Moon's origin, structure, and motion. And observe its activities while learning how to use binoculars and telescopes for stargazing.
As a bonus, instructor Alan Seamans, Maine Master Naturalist and NAI Certified Interpretive Guide, invites students to view the Moon with him on September 19, location TBD.
