Spring at SSC

Announcing Sunrise Senior College offerings for the Spring season. 1) Courage: The Heart of Leadership. Dr. Annabel Beerel will explain why with the lack of leadership that seems endemic in the world today, it is so important to understand this critical element of effective leadership.

2) Michael Ambler in a free and open to the public presentation, America’s Secret War in Laos Fifty Years Later: “Clearing the Bombs”, will discuss his awareness and subsequent project to alleviate this major issue in the Asian countryside.

3) In another free and also a public service presentation, Gordon H. Smith, Esq., Maine’s Director of Opioid Response will provide an update on the positive effects of the state's strategic action plan in his talk entitled:   Maine’s Opioid Response: “A Six Year Report Focusing on Washington County”.
