Reclaiming Memories Using Photographs – Then Writing Them Down


The stories that disappear from our memory are forever a mystery. Filling up the holes that time created isas exciting as traveling to an exotic land. By hunting for lost memories in photographs, we can reclaim them and make them our own again. In this hunt, old photographs and new ones will be used as helpful means to achieve our writing goals.

Instructor: Ariela Zucker

Born in Israel, Ariela and her husband lefttwenty years ago. Over the summer they reside in Ellsworth Maine where theyrun a Mom and Pop motel. Ariela writes poetry and nonfiction and offers onlineand Zoom classes mainly on the connection between photography and writing.
