The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Southern Maine offers the SAGE Lecture series:
Tuesdays, March 17 – May 5, 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Open to the public, walk-ins welcome
$15 per lecture, cash-only at the door or register in advance

The SAGE Lectures offers eight weeks of diverse and engaging speakers exploring contemporary issues and evolving cultural activities.
March 17 - Dr. Nirav Shah

We kick off our program series with Dr. Nirav Shah, former head of Maine’s CDC and the Principal Deputy Director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention–the agency’s second in command. Dr. Shah will discuss the state of public health, including pandemic preparedness, in the US, globally, in Maine, and what you can do to stay safe.
