At UMA Senior College, we offer over 25 FREE classes, outings, and lectures!

You might choose outdoor activities: Marvelous Birds, Outdoor Shorts, or Pétanque. Or perhaps you're looking for a Zoom class—Gettysburg: an American Epic; Metaphysics; Momentum: A Virtual Tour of the Farnsworth Art Museum; The Spring Lectures Series; The Relevance of Geology; or Central Maine's Architectural History might be just the ticket. We also offer a variety of in-person classes that you might enjoy: Spanish; Difficult Conversations and Bias; Intuitive Challenges; Beginning Bridge; The Language That Will Not Die: A History of French in North America; The Origins of Human Evolution; Making a Photobook; Empowered Eating; Classic Films; or Gettysburg: an American Epic (also offered on Zoom on a different day). Finally, we have teamed up with the National Digital Equity Center to offer courses designed to help students understand the basics of using digital media and various devices.
