Storyteller Jude Lamb Portrays Ann Jarvis Greely

The Zoom presentation is free and begins at noon.

If you register for the online talk you will receive the link the day before the event.

Friday, March 22nd - Noon

Join storyteller Jude Lamb to learn about the fascinating life of Ann Jarvis Greely. Ann was the granddaughter of John Black, the founder of Woodlawn in Ellsworth. Ann was a business owner and a well-known figure in the history of Ellsworth in the mid-to-late 1800s. Portraying Ann, Jude will tell of Ann’s Millinery Shop, as well as her efforts in Suffrage, Temperance, and many other good causes of her day.

Jude Lamb is an artist and storyteller who has been telling the stories of Maine Women from the past for more than a decade. She is a College of the Atlantic graduate and lives in Lamoine. She recently self-published a chapter book about her great-grandfather. It is mostly fiction, but woven in is the true story that he passed down to his grandchildren. The book is aimed at 8 to 12 year olds, and is especially loved by the 'young at heart.’
